Hydration and regeneration: Say goodbye to dried hair after the flight

Hair contains approximately 12% water. Young and healthy hair retains water on its own, but the older it is, the more prone it is to water loss. When water is lost, it breaks, is not flexible and splits. How to hydrate your hair properly

BE CAREFUL ABOUT THIS

If your hair is too dry, avoid this :

– don’t forget products that protect your hair from high temperatures

– limit the heat treatment of your hair, your hair is extremely dry with frequent blow-drying or curling and ironing

– too frequent washing of hair is harmful, not only that ointments are much faster, they also remain very dry and lifeless

– place on brushes with natural bristles, suitable for combing wet and dry hair

– do not wash your hair with hot water, but with lukewarm

PROPER HAIR WASHING PROCEDURE

Each of us should have at least five quality hair products at home: shampoo, mask, conditioner, oil and rinse-free care (with thermal protection function). In what order should you use them ?

1. Shampoo

– since the shampoo opens our hair, it must be nourished and then “locked”

2. Mask

– we washed our hair with shampoo and it is “open”, the ideal time to use a mask that contains a number of vitamins and ingredients that the hair needs for thorough hydration

3. Conditioner

– however, the mask does not have a function that would heal the hair, so we apply a conditioner that closes the hair and gives it shine from the outside

Oil and rinse-free care usually also have a thermal protection function. If not, be sure to reach for a product that protects your hair from high temperatures.
