Love Island’s Chloe Burrows teases brunette hair look as fans beg her to stay blonde

There are some celebrities for whom blonde hair is truly their signature and our cores would be shaken if ever they changed that. Holly Willoughby, Mollie King, Gemma Collins et all would all shock the nation if ever they went to the dark side and became brunette.

So you can imagine that when former Love Island contestant Chloe Burrows teased a new brunette haired look on social media, her fans were pretty stunned. “Might fk around and dye my hair now,” she captioned the TikTok video.

Thankfully for those followers who are attached to her blonde look, it was merely down to a hair colour try-on filter – but we have to say that she really can pull off either colour.

In the comments section of the video, fans were pretty evenly split on whether Chloe should take the plunge and dye her hair brown for reals.

“Nooo Chloe, you rock blonde + blondes have more fun,” one follower lamented, as another agreed, “Keep the blonde!”

Others, however, wanted the star to make brown hair the real deal. “I think you should give it a go, it really suits you” as a second chimed in with “YOU WOULD LOOK SO GOOD WITH BROWN”.

Fans’ divided opinions aside, it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing brunette Chloe any time soon. When one fan urged “Omg do it x,” the star herself replied, “Too scared” with a crying emoji.

There’s clearly something in the water at the moment, as several celebrities have been experimenting with new (faux) hair colours and cuts recently. Take former Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger, who appeared to ditch her signature lengthy hair for an on-trend long bob this month.

The 43 year old took to Instagram to share her new ‘do in a fun transition Instagram Reel, in which she yanked on her long hair before the video switched to a look at the shorter style – very similar to a recent hair transformation by Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell.

However, as many fans quickly pointed out, while she looks fierce Nicole hasn’t quite braved the big chop for real, and had actually changed up her look with the help of a wig. Clearly having something of a try-on session, she also showed off a bubblegum pink hairstyle in a separate TikTok video shortly afterwards.

Well, at least these celebs know how good they’ll look if they DO make the change a permanent one…
