10 people injured in an accident involving 6 cars, arrested a man suspected of being drunk Hyogo / Kakogawa

Around 11:30 am on the 3rd, Hyogo Prefecture Kakogawa City Hiraoka There was an accident involving six cars in the town. According to the prefectural police, 10 men and women in their 2s to 60s were injured and taken to the hospital, and a woman (31) living in the city was seriously injured, including a broken leg. All 10 people are conscious.

On the same day, the Kakogawa station said that he drunk a passenger car in a drunken state, and onoe in the same city. Riku Ueda (21), a jumper in Nagata, was arrested on suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Act (driving under the influence of alcohol). He admits the charges.

According to the police, Ueda was driving backwards on a one-way city road and was tracked by a police car. It is said that he escaped for about 800 meters, caused an accident involving a total of five cars at two locations, and then collided with a utility pole on the side of the road and stopped.

The site is a residential area southwest of JR East Kakogawa station.
