Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 Ep 11: Release Date, Speculation

Episode 10 of Attack on Titan, season 4, part 2, titled “Traitor,” is the latest installment of the anime.

The battle between the Jeagerists and the Marley-Paradis alliance has begun. Armin first proposed a non-violent plan to steal the flying boat from the Azumabito harbor, but alas, it wasn’t a success.

Floch believed that Armin and group had betrayed them which turned out to be true. This started a bloody fight where the ex-Survey Corps had to kill their former comrades.

The price of saving the world turned out to be too heavy as Connie shot two of his friends, and Armin witnessed their deaths first-hand.

Annie and Reiner turned into their titan forms, determined to wipe out the Jeagerists. Meanwhile, Mikasa, Magath, and Jean managed to bring the remaining Azumabito engineers to safety.

Will the alliance successfully obtain the flying boat and reach Marley before their massacre happens? We’ll find out in the next episode.

Episode 11 Discussion & Speculation

The latest episode marked a dark day for the legacy of the Survey Corps. Looking at how divided they had become made the fans realize the hole that Erwin’s absence left behind. It really makes me wonder if Erwin’s leadership would have avoided this situation altogether.

In any case, Erwin is gone, and only Armin and Mikasa can stop Eren now. Judging by how difficult it was for them to kill their friends from the Survey Corps, confronting Eren is going to be even more difficult.

I think that the next episode will be even more devasting as the deaths of the Jeagerists will continue to haunt Armin, Mikasa, Connie, and Jean.

Their plan to steal the flying boat will likely succeed. By the next episode, the alliance will most probably reach the continent of Marley. We might also see the destruction caused by the Wall Titians on the outskirts of the nation.

Episode 11 Release Date

Episode 11 of the Attack on Titan: The Final Season part 2 anime, titled “Retrospective”, will be released on Sunday, Mar 20, 2022.

1. Is Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 on Break this Week?

No, episode 11 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season part 2 is not on a break. The anime will continue as scheduled.

Episode 10 Recap

The episode begins with Magath and Hange observing the Jeagerists from a distance. They notice that the flying boat is still intact, which is a little surprising since Floch would have had it destroyed to end all chances of stopping the rumbling.

They didn’t destroy it because Floch wasn’t sure about the Paradis-Marley alliance and their plan to stop the wall titans together. Another reason is that if they lose the boat, they would be pushed back to a more primitive civilization where all technological advancements are gone.

Annie suggests that they must wipe out all the Jeagerists using the power of the titans alongside their weapons. This idea doesn’t sit well with Armin, Mikasa, Connie, and Jean since most of their comrades from the Survey Corps are now a part of the Jeagerists.

Mikasa voices another concern that if they indiscriminately attack the harbor, the Azumabito will also get caught in the crossfire.

Onyankopon backs her up and says that while he may be able to pilot the boat, he still doesn’t know how to attach its wings to the main body. They needed the help of the Azumabito engineers for that.

Frustrated, Annie asks Armin to tell them his plan, referencing the time he lured her into a trap. After a bit of back and forth, the Marleyans realize how they must not force their new allies to fight against their former friends.

Magath apologizes for his cruel remarks from the previous night and tells the ex-Survey Corp members that they have no obligation to fight with them.

Despite not being obligated to fight, they still want to stop the genocide and hence, decide to help Magath and the others.

Armin comes up with a plan that involves fooling Floch into thinking that Reiner and the other Marleyans have escaped. They then plan to make the Azumabito assemble the boat and steal it somehow.

Their plan doesn’t succeed, and a war breaks out. Connie is forced to kill two of his former friends while Reiner and Annie turn into titans. Mikasa and Jean also manage to save the Azumabito by taking them to the basement, waiting for the bloodshed to be over.
