The SBB line between St. Gallen and Gossau is back in operation. The malfunction has been rectified. However, travelers still have to expect delays.
There are currently no express trains from St. Gallen on the normal route via Winterthur to Zurich.

The important SBB connection between St. Gallen for commuters and Zurich was badly affected on Friday morning. The reason was a section between Gossau and St. Gallen that was interrupted due to a disruption, as reported by the SBB on Friday morning . All trains on this route were canceled by 8:30 a.m. The travelers from St. Gallen who wanted to go to Zurich were diverted via Rapperswil or Romanshorn-Weinfelden. The same applied to travelers from Zurich who wanted to go to St. Gallen.
At 8:30 a.m. reported the SBB that they had rectified the disruption. The route between St. Gallen and Gossau is back in operation. However, delays must still be expected.
