DJI to Release Mavic 3 Pro Camera Drone on April 25

Leading Chinese consumer drone manufacturer DJI announced that it will hold a new product launch on April 25and may release Mavic 3 Pro camera drone.

The poster shows a close-up of three cameras with the Hasselblad logo below, consistent with previously leaked photos online.

According to previous leaksthe DJI Mavic 3 Pro has upgraded to three lenses, added an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 56x hybrid zoom camera (28x for the regular version). Its main camera has been upgraded to 40MP (20MP for the regular version) and is equipped with Hasselblad imaging technology.

A previously leaked photo shows that the three cameras are arranged in a honeycomb pattern with pentagonal contours. In addition to the two obstacle avoidance sensors above them, they have a very cool appearance.

Currently, the operating interface of DJI Mavic 3 Pro has also been leaked. It can be adjusted from 1/3/7x zooms compared to Mavic 3’s main camera zooming range of between 1x and 4x. It is expected that more than 7x will still be hybrid zooming for long-range shooting purposes.

This drone even appeared on a Chinese second-hand shopping platform before its official release at prices starting from 13,888 yuan ($2020) for a camera drone or 18,888 yuan for a combo. The DJI Mavic 3 standard edition, however, currently starts at 12,888 yuan.

The previously launched DJI Mavic 3 camera drone is a flagship product in DJI’s Mavic series drones which boasts excellent features such as endurance time, transmission distance, flight speed, resolution, sensor size, maximum altitude supportability, and wind resistance among others, making it suitable for aerial photography enthusiasts who have sufficient budgets or professional aerial photographers.

The upgraded version to be unveiled this time should bring higher configuration improvements worth looking forward to.
