Dr Funmi Adeniyi Launches book on Dental Hygiene for Toddlers

This book was inspired by my years in practice as a dentist. Each day, I meet parents who are clueless about dental hygiene and care. It became my mission to equip the young generation of children to have the right knowledge about dentistry, to prevent unnecessary and avoidable dental damage. My mission is to ensure that children enjoy healthy oral health. This is also my WHY. Getting this book into every little hand. I want to inspire the generation of children who are already aware of dental hygiene because they have been raised intentionally. I hope that this book gets into the hands of every child, and draws the attention of major players in the oral health sector for a deserving sponsorship to serve better. A sponsorship that would make my dreams of greater impact a reality. I look forward to toothpaste production companies and such sponsoring to get this book into schools, homes, and religious places. I want this book to be a movement.

Dr. Funmi Adeniyi is an astute Dentist with more than 11 years of experience in private dental care and the healthcare industry. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is an experienced manager with a high level of proficiency in dental care, healthcare management and administration. In 2019, she founded Luxe Dental Clinic, a clinic that leads in providing global standard dental services to its customers, leaving them with life-changing experiences. She is ardent about making people healthy and keeps the faces of her clients confident and full of bright smiles using the latest dental tools and technology. She is a public health enthusiast and also runs a non-profit dental advocacy, Smile Doctor Foundation through which she improves access to dental care for underprivileged individuals in rural and semi-urban areas. She currently serves as the Financial Secretary of The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs Alumnae Association a US government initiative for women around the world. She’s also a member of the Nigerian Economic Summit Thematic Group on Healthcare as a Business where she influences national healthcare policy. Dr. Funmi inspires thousands of young girls, women, and the general public through her Made for More show, a podcast platform, a youtube page and two best-selling published books.
