The Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 will launch on 26 July

Get ready for the next Galaxy Unpacked event, as Samsung has begun to tease the arrival of its next generation foldable phones and interestingly, it will be hosting the event at its homegrown as you can see the ‘Unpacked’ words written in Hangul.

The event will be livestreamed on Samsung’s social media and official YouTube channel at 7PM Malaysian time on 26th July, and Samsung Malaysia has as usual offered a RM400 pre-order voucher for the new foldables if you register your interest here.

The new Galaxy Z series are expected to be powered by the same chipset as the Galaxy S23 series – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, while the Z Fold5 is expected to have a similar design to its predecessor though we expect Samsung to further improve the phone’s build and durability, the Z Flip5 is the more exciting device as Samsung is rumored to include a larger 3.4-inch cover display, which can have more interesting features and better usability than before.

On the other hand, we can also expect Samsung to also introduce a new wearable during the event as a companion to the new foldables.
