Skanska USA names new Florida chief

Tracy Hunt, a 26-year company veteran, has taken over as head of Skanska USA Building’s operations in Florida. Hunt’s new role — executive vice president and general manager of the region — became effective Nov. 1, according to a press release.

He most recently served as senior vice president and account manager, holding that position since 2018. Hunt also leads Skanska’s mentoring program partnership with the University of South Florida, intended to support diverse small construction businesses in the Tampa Bay area.

Hunt graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
