Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno has said that Son Heung-min played well against Aston Villa at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as quoted in Football.London.
What’s the story?
Tottenham got the better of Villa 2-1 at home in the Premier League yesterday.
Son did not score, but the South Korea international provided the assist for the first goal.
Nuno’s verdict
Tottenham head coach Nuno has said that Son was superb against Villa and really hurt Dean Smith’s side.
Nuno said: “All the players are very important, all the players. Not only Sonny did a good game, overall the team did very well.
“Sonny, the way he took the team forward and the way he imbalanced them on one v one situations was very important, but all the team, there were a lot of good individual performances and when this happens the team plays better, it is natural so I am pleased.”

How did Son play?
Son is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League and is a hugely influential figure at Tottenham.
The 29-year-old has not exactly been great for Spurs so far this season, but there have been some positive signs in recent days.
Son played well in the Europa Conference League last week after coming on as a substitute and provided an assist.
The former Bayer Leverkusen star was a constant threat down the left-hand side against Villa and really put the defenders under pressure.
Son had chances to score in the opening minutes of the second half and was involved in the second goal for Tottenham.
The Tottenham no.10 took five shots, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 86.1%, took 60 touches, attempted three dribbles, and put in three crosses.
