Barcelona injury update vs. Cadiz

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona’s injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Cadiz.

Barcelona will be aiming to make it six straight wins in all competitions when they resume their La Liga campaign away to Cadiz on Saturday night.

The Catalan outfit will enter the contest off the back of a 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.

Xavi‘s side have won their last three in the league, meanwhile, and they currently sit second in the table, eight points behind division leaders Real Madrid.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona’s latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Cadiz, who are 18th in the table, three points from the safety of 17th position.

Gavi sustained an ACL injury while representing Spain towards the end of last year, and the midfielder will not be available for selection until the 2024-25 campaign.

Balde underwent a hamstring operation at the end of January, and the Spain international will also be unavailable for selection until the 2024-25 campaign.

Martinez will be banned for Barcelona this weekend due to the milestone booking that he picked up in the clash with Las Palmas at the end of last month.
