The immediate-past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has predicted the failure of his predecessor, Uba Sani.

Addressing a gathering of his supporters and associates during the Sallah celebrations, El-rufai said “Governor Sani will fall off like a candy”.

Recall that the Kaduna State House of Assembly recently recommended an investigation into the loans received and spent during El-Rufai’s administration.

The former governor disclosed that he was not in any way disturbed by the ongoing probe of his administration by the state assembly.

El-Rufai, however, said that he was more worried that the Sani administration may not succeed.

He also advised his supporters to stay away from engaging in a war of words with the governor’s aide.

“Support the governor and his cabinet members with prayers for them to do the right thing. Don’t feel hurt with what’s going on. When he is done prancing, he will fall off like candy [in a kid’s hand],” he said according to DailyNigerian.

Politics Nigeria reports that Governor Sani fell out with El-Rufai after the former accused the latter of plunging the state into debts.

The governor had said that his administration could not pay salaries due to the debts incurred by El-Rufai during his eight-year stint at the Kashim Ibrahim House.
