The 10th Anniversary Year Commemorative Live Broadcast program for the IDOLiSH7 multimedia franchise announced a fourth season and a compilation movie on Saturday.
The compilation movie will be a re-edited version of the first anime season, and will screen in theaters.
A media adaptation of the Kikkou no Quarter (Antagonistic Quarter) story from the smartphone game was also announced at the event. The four-part story focuses on the idol group ŹOOĻ.
Produced by TROYCA, the first season debuted in Winter 2018, followed by the second season in Spring 2020. The IDOLiSH7 Vibrato net anime streamed in eight episodes between February 2018 and March 2019.
The third season aired in two parts, with the first part in Summer 2021 and the second part in Fall 2022.
The IDOLiSH7 Movie: LIVE 4bit – BEYOND THE PERiOD, produced by CG animation studio Orange, screened in two parts in May 2023.
Developed and published by Bandai Namco Online, IDOLiSH7 originally launched as a smartphone game in August 2015. Lantis produces the music for the franchise, while Arina Tanemura designs the characters. The project also includes a manga adaptation, a PlayStation Vita game in 2018, and multiple singles released over the years.
