Ludogorets again wants a foreigner as a coach

The management of Ludogorets is looking to foreign specialists for a new coach after the parting with the Lithuanian Valdas Dambrauskas, Tema Sport writes.

Currently, the citizens of Razgrad are considering two or three options, one of which is Marko Nikolic. The Serb is expected to leave Russian Lokomotiv Moscow soon. He has been at the club for several years, recording the prestigious second and third place in the championship and triumphed once for the National Cup. He is currently in disfavor and is expected to resign.

Nikolic is well known for Lodogorets. He once eliminated the “eagles” in European tournaments and once dropped out. In 2014, Ludogorets eliminated Nikolic’s team of Partizan after 0: 0 in Razgrad and 2: 2 in Belgrade. Four years later, the specialist reached a rematch with Mall Fehervar.

Then in Razgrad the match also ended 0: 0, but the Hungarian team won 1: 0 at home and put a stick in the wheels of the Bulgarian hegemon in the Champions League.

Nikolic is liked by the management of the champions and fits in the profile for coach of the team.
