
Like other manufacturers, Google works with secret codes during development and preproduction. In the software, new devices have code names and physical hardware has been tried to camouflage. For example, the fake names that Huawei puts on the back of pre-series devices are well known. But Google also disguises itself more or less well and equips the smartphones with “secret” characters.

But as we can see, this camouflage isn’t really worth much. Perhaps only in the area of production, because not every employee immediately recognizes what kind of prototype they are looking at.
