Jules Theobald, the oldest Frenchman, died in At the age of 113, at his home in Forde de France on the island of Martinique, his family announced.

Theobald, who was a fisherman, was born on April 17, 1909.

France Press journalist met him once in 2019 and then Theobold told her about his youth, work and childhood.

When asked about his old age, he jokingly said – If someone asked me, I could live for 200 years.
