Quavo Readies Sophomore Solo Album

Quavo

Huncho is planning his second act.

Quavo has confirmed that his sophomore album is on the way. Speaking with Complex’s “Hiking With Rappers” series, one third of Migos revealed that the project will likely drop sometime next year.

“Probably like next year, the Huncho solo project will come back out,” he said.

He recently shot a video for a new collaboration with Yung Miami and shared a teaser on Instagram. “Mo Motion Than A Ocean 🌊 Get Ya Popcorn 🍿 Ready!!” he wrote in his caption.

It’s been three years since Quavo dropped his debut solo album Quavo Huncho, which featured guest appearances from Drake, Saweetie, Madonna, Cardi B, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, and Kid Cudi.

In June, Migos released Culture III, the final chapter in their long-running Culture series. “That was the last Culture chapter. The next thing’s gonna be something different. We have to turn the page,” he said. “I feel like we did our job with that.”

But Migos is not done with Culture III just yet. They will be announcing dates for a tour in the next couple months. “We just gon’ hit the world and make an impact with this Culture III album,” he said.
