Raúl Castro congratulated Cuba's military medical university

October 7, 2021, 9:38 PM The Havana, Oct 7 (Prensa Latina) Army General Raúl Castro today congratulated the University of Medical Sciences of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) in Cuba for the 40th anniversary of its foundation.

Through a letter, Raúl Castro recalled that professionals with a high political and ideological, technical and scientific level.

Those graduates, he said, guarantee the medical insurance of hospitals and military units, as well as the fulfillment of important internationalist missions and collaboration in dozens of countries.

He highlighted the work of his teachers and students in confronting the Covid-19 pandemic on the island, the total delivery in military hospitals, isolation centers and units of the FAR and in the fulfillment of all assigned assistance and assurance tasks.

That University trains professionals in careers of Medicine, Stomatology and Health Technology, in addition to offering postgraduate studies, national television reported.

The educational institution was also distinguished with the Barrio Award what ot organized by the National Directorate of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, the largest mass organization in the country.

That center, for its part, delivered the commemorative stamp of the anniversary to chiefs and personalities who contributed to its development and the FAR Distinguished Service Distinction to officers and cadets.
