Google adds new Material You widget for Google Maps in Android 12 beta

During the evening, Google sent out a new update to Maps which contains a completely new widget with Material You inspired design which at the moment has only been released to those who can download the beta of Android 12.

It looks like this widget will allow you to, for example, search nearby restaurants to name an example. The update is sent out regularly.
