The TV series Naomi , based on the character of the same name from DC Comics, premieres on the 10th on the North American channel CW. The production, however, must not be linked to other projects of Arrowverse, such as Superman & Lois and The Flash. The information was confirmed by the filmmaker Ava DuVernay, producer of the series.
In interview published on the website Entertainment Weekly
“You won’t see crossovers in the first season. Will not happen. Naomi is committed to her own story, and we are solely focused on that journey.”
Created in 2019 by Brian Michael Bendis
Naomi is scheduled to premiere on January 11 on The CW. The cast has Kaci Walfall in the lead role. Ava DuVernay (A Wrinkle in Time ), which initially would develop a project about the New Gods for the cinema, took over the creation and production of the series.
