Former Levski star helped Cape Verde to a successful start to the African Cup of Nations

Cape Verde beat Ethiopia 1-0 in the second match of the African Cup of Nations, which was in Group A. Earlier on Sunday in the same group, the host Cameroon made a turnaround against Burkina Faso – 2: 1.

The victory for Cape Verde brought Julio Tavares with a header in the first minute of added time in the first half. The assist was given to the former player of Levski Gary Rodriguez, who passed excellently from the air to the author of the goal, for whom the easier task remained.
