Just a year ago, the Withings ScanWatch hit the market, an attractive hybrid watch with a classic look , but with all the usual features that we find in smartwatches. Now the company has just announced its successor, the Withings ScanWatch Horizon.
This new proposal, which has a price of, attention, 500 euros , retains some features of its predecessor, including the ability to detect sleep apnea by analyzing blood oxygen levels and heart rate, as well as movement and respiratory rate.

Detects atrial fibrillation ar and 30 sports
In addition to an analog dial with hands, the new Withings hybrid watch has a PMOLED display that shows the blood oxygen saturation (thanks to the SpO2 sensor), heart rate and phone notifications, as well as steps, floors climbed, distance, calories, activities, etc.
It is resistant to water up to 10 atmospheres of pressure (100 meters deep) and, to power itself, it has a battery that lasts up to 30 days with a “use normal “(depending on brand) and 20 more days in power reserve mode (time and activity tracking only). It takes about two hours to fully charge.
It can automatically recognize the activity you are doing and includes a training mode with more than 30 sports. In terms of health, the watch is capable of detecting irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias), recording an electrocardiogram (ECG) and tracking the cycles, duration and interruption of the sleep to identify a possible apnea.
Price and availability of the Withings ScanWatch Horizon
The Withings ScanWatch Horizon comes with a 43mm stainless steel case with sapphire crystal and two bracelets, one made of stainless steel and one made of fluoroelastomer . It is marketed at a official price of 499.95 euros in two colors: blue or green. At the moment, it has gone on sale in France, Germany and the United Kingdom, but in the coming months it will reach more countries.
