Halsey Just Revealed Their Baby Ender’s Adorable Little Face

Too cute, can’t deal, gotta go, bye. Since welcoming their first child Ender in July, singer Halsey has shared a lot on social media—stretch marks, reflections on being a working parent, breastfeeding pics—but never the baby’s face. Until now. Halsey, who uses both she and they pronouns, celebrated their 27th birthday September 29 with a picture of Ender smiling for the camera–and oh, good Lord, this kid is a cutie.

“The best birthday gift there is 🚀” the singer captioned a two-slide post of Ender being held by Halsey’s partner (and Ender’s dad), Alev Aydin. Dressed in a colorful onesie with a matching hat and tiny socks, the baby is quite simply adorbs.

Sweet comments immediately poured in from the star’s friends and fans, including fellow musician Charli XCX, who wrote, “Happybirthdayyyyyy 💕.”

Halsey previously posed with a baby (not Ender) on the cover of their latest album, If I Can’t Have Love I Want Power. In the Instagram post revealing the photo, she opened up about the complicated feelings that accompanied her pregnancy. “This album is a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth,” they wrote. “It was very important to me that the cover art conveyed the sentiment of my journey over the past few months. The dichotomy of the Madonna and the Whore. The idea that me as a sexual being and my body as a vessel and gift to my child are two concepts that can co-exist peacefully and powerfully. My body has belonged to the world in many different ways the past few years, and this image is my means of reclaiming my autonomy and establishing my pride and strength as a life force for my human being. This cover image celebrates pregnant and postpartum bodies as something beautiful, to be admired. We have a long way to go with eradicating the social stigma around bodies & breastfeeding. I hope this can be a step in the right direction!”
