AI software-focused Baihai Technology announced on Friday that it has completed tens of millions of yuan in financing led by Verity Ventures. The funds are mainly to be allocated for accelerating the development and promotion of an AI intelligent development platform (IDP).
Baihai Technology is made up of tech talent hailing from China’s prestigious Tsinghua University, Baidu
Baihai Technology focuses on serving algorithm engineers and big data engineers who want to transform into data scientists, and provides them with easy-to-use and high-performance domestic AI development and production tools, so that they can focus more on model development and data analysis to improve work efficiency.
Jupyter is a non-profit, open-source project, born out of the IPython Project in 2014 as it evolved to support interactive data science and scientific computing across all programming languages. Its biggest feature is its excellent visual programming performance and rich data analysis functions.
However, its support for AI production and management still needs to be improved. For example, data access and SQL analysis mainly rely on other plug-ins; support for team cooperation, project management, background operations and distributed training still needs to be improved.

With the acceleration of cloud storage for enterprise data, the deep integration of AI and cloud services will become an inevitable trend. Baihai Technology hopes to combine Jupyter with Cloud Native and provide an easy-to-use and high-performance domestic AI development and production tool for professional AI developers.
