Είναι λίγο λυπηρό το γεγονός ότι υπάρχει γενική έλλειψη οπτικού ζουμ 3x, πόσο μάλλον μιας κάμερας περισκοπίου 5x ή και περισσότερο. Φυσικά, ο λόγος είναι πολύ απλός. Το κόστος του τηλεφακού είναι πολύ υψηλό, ειδικά το κόστος της κάμερας περισκοπίου συν το OIS είναι ακόμη υψηλότερο από αυτό πολλών κύριων καμερών.
