Legislators sign multiparty censure motion against Minister Iber Maraví

Parliamentarians from various benches signed a motion of censure against the Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Iber Maraví , who was questioned this Thursday at the Congress .

According to the motion to which RPP Noticias agreed, the legislators who signed it indicated that the answers offered by the minister to the statement interpellation “they have not satisfied the National Representation.”

“During his presentation, Minister Iber Maraví , has not been able to satisfactorily disprove the multiple evidence that links him to the Shining Path and its political façade the Movadef ”, they argue.

Benches supporting motion

The motion was moved by the bench of Renovación Popular, as announced by its spokesperson Jorge Montoya.

So far it has the signature of al less 42 parliamentarians from the Popular Renovation, Avanza País, Alianza Para el Progreso and Podemos Peru benches.

In accordance with article 86 of the Regulations of the Congress, a motion needs a minimum of 33 signatures to be presented before the Mayor’s Office. Then he realizes it and must be put on the agenda for debate.

For it to be approved, it is necessary that half plus one of the legal number of congressmen support it , that is to say at least 66 legislators would have to vote in favor.
