On the evening of January 23, at 8:10 p.m., the police received a report from a duty officer that a high-speed train on the Lviv-Kyiv route had hit a man near the Dubno railway station in the Rivne region. This was reported in the press service of the Rivne region police.
The guy himself lay down on the rails.
“The Investigative and Operational Group of the Dubna Regional Police Department found out at the scene that despite the sound signals and emergency braking, the train driver could not avoid hitting an unknown person. According to his assistant, when approaching a man who was on the next track, he suddenly ran out and lay down under the train “, – reported in the police.
A 17-year-old man from Dubna, a student of one of the vocational schools, was killed. No death note was found with him.
As part of the criminal proceedings, the police are establishing the circumstances of the minor’s death.
It is known that he lived with his mother, older brother and stepfather. There were no obvious conflicts in the family, he was mediocre in the school.
That day he was resting with friends, after which, at about 5:30 pm, he had to return home.
