BELGRADE – A man who shot tonight in the park on the corner of Ustanička and Vojislava Ilića streets in Belgrade has been arrested, and the situation is under police control, reports the Tanjug reporter from the scene.
Previously, a man, who was said to be a psychiatric patient, was shot twice.
There were no injuries in the incident, nor was there a hostage crisis.
After the arrest of the suspect, the police allowed pedestrians to pass, but the traffic at the intersection of two streets and in a wider area was suspended.
A large number of police officers, including the intervention unit, whose members long pipes and body armor.
An ambulance arrived at the scene, which, as Tanjug has learned, should have transported the man who shot.
The drama lasted between half an hour and an hour.
