Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s assistant at Manchester United – Mike Fillon, has extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2024. Fillon was for many years an assistant to the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson and returned to Old Trafford with Solskjær in December 2018.
In the summer, the Norwegian specialist extended his contract with the Red Devils until 2024, and now and his assistant did the same.
Mike Fillon, 59, played 146 games for United as a footballer between 1989 and 1994, winning the FA Cup, the KNK and the English title. In 2000 he became the coach of the reserve team of the Manchester Grand, and eight years later he was promoted to assistant to Sir Alex, but was released from the club after the arrival of David Moyes in 2013. / BGNES
