In any case, this is explained by a study published by the Dutch Nuclear Safety Authority . Yes “nuclear”, because these grigris would give off ionizing radiation, in other words radioactivity . The organization has also listed nine other products of the same style (mask of sleep, necklaces, bracelets) that are radioactive.

At the end, the level of broadcasts is without risk, because it is really weak, but if it is a jewel worn permanently, the radiation absorbed into the body may exceed health limits.
