Adam Scott (“Severance”) is the latest to join Sony Pictures and Marvel’s “Madame Web” film which is being led by Dakota Johnson. As per usual with this film, there are no details on his role.
Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced and Tahar Rahim are also onboard the project which is a part of the Sony Marvel universe alongside the likes of “Venom,” “Morbius” and the upcoming “Kraven the Hunter”.
The project serves as an origin story for Madame Web, a clairvoyant whose psychic abilities allow her to see within the spider world itself. S.J. Clarkson directs while Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless penned the screenplay.
