Ajax is not prepared to respond substantively to previous statements by Hugo de Jonge. The Minister of Health said on Friday afternoon that he was not happy with the fact that the Amsterdam clubs sent four infected persons back to the Netherlands from the training camp in Portugal by private plane.
The four people, of which three players, had to comply with the corona rules of Portugal and did not. After all, they had to quarantine there, but the club put the people on a flight back separately from the group. Ajax broke off the training camp in the Algarve because of these infections and returned to Amsterdam on Wednesday evening.
