Albacete has achieved its first away victory of the season this Sunday after beating Costa Brava by 0 -3 with authority on Catalan soil in a match where the La Mancha team has been far superior to its rival. Rubén de la Barrera’s team put the clash on track in the first half hour of play by scoring two goals. The first of them, in the 14th minute by Julio Alonso after a play on the right wing taking advantage of an assist from Emiliano Gómez.
The Albacete was much superior in the match and in the 22nd minute, Gómez himself extended the result by taking advantage of a loose ball in the Catalan area. The La Mancha team had chances to sentence the clash and in the 65th minute Jordi Sánchez scored the final 0-3 to release the scoring locker as a visitor from an Albacete that is still in the upper zone from the standings in the wake of the leader, the Villarreal subsidiary.
