A week ago, 13-year-old Alvin Laughing from Hammersborg in Trondheim jumping in a big hill for the first time. 
One might think that when a 13-year-old combined runner is going to jump on the Olympic slopes from Lillehammer for the first time, it can get a little nervous. But the 13-year-old clinked just as well with a jump of 123 meters.

Alvin tells about a hectic everyday life with a football match on Mondays, football training or jumping on Tuesdays and cross-country skiing with Granåsen Skiteam on Wednesdays. He spends Thursdays in the ski jumping hill at Knyken, closely followed by a roller ski session. On Fridays there is athletics on the program, while the weekends either go to competitions or Playstation.

Impressed Kristian Forseth Karlsen is a former ski jumper, but is now a trainer for Alvin. He is very impressed with his student. – It’s a super talent. I have been lucky to work with him since he put on ski skis for the first time, he says to Dagbladet.
– He took it very lightly. There was extremely much will, but a little imbalance, which is completely natural when you jump for the first time – How far can he reach?
