After NVIDIA’s DLSS and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, it looks like AMD has something within the same genre, but still different enough, to be a separate package from their very recent one Fidelity.
We are talking about Radeon Super Resolution, which unlike DLSS and FidelityFX, can be implemented in all games, right away. A big plus for the world of AMD Radeon graphics cards! Do you know why? Because it’s an exclusive feature, for which NVIDIA has no answer yet!
AMD Radeon Super Resolution promises more performance … In all!
So AMD has something that will be an authentic ‘Game Changer ‘, virtually for free. After all, while DLSS and FidelityFX have to be implemented game-by-game by the development team, AMD’s new upsacalling tool is basically a ‘Grab and Go’.
Of course, unlike FidelityFX, which works on any graphics card, the new Super Resolution will be an obvious exclusive to AMD Radeon cards, most likely the latest RDNA 2 cards. (It works at the driver level!)
Is this the end of FidelityFX? Calm down!
AMD is planning to keep both technologies, but apparently, the biggest bet will be on the latest (and exclusive) image upscaling technology.
Interestingly, the big news, which should arrive hand in hand with a new (and renewed) package of AMD Radeon Adrenalin drivers, will also feature the new AMD Privacy View, as well as other additional features.
Also, what do you think about all this? Is it even a real advantage? Share your opinion with us in the comments below.

Since I was very young I was interested in computers and technology in general, my first PC at 10 years old and at 15 I built my first tower, since then I never stopped. Whatever technology, I’m in the front row to find out more.
