AMLO confirms that he tested positive for Covid-19; will remain in isolation

The president Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed this Monday that tested positive for coronavirus , this is the second time that the president has been infected with this disease.

The president assured through his social networks that he is well and has not presented serious symptoms of Covid-19 and that the head of the Ministry of the Interior, Adán Augusto López will represent him in his traditional morning conferences.

“I inform you that I am infected with Covid-19 and although the symptoms are mild, I will remain in isolation and will only do office work and communicate virtually until I get ahead,” explained López Obrador.

“The Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López Hernández, will represent me at press conferences and other events. Courage, with the affection of Always!” said the President on his Twitter account.
