Anadol STC; Turkey's first sports car is being rebuilt for the world's toughest endurance race

Anadol STC, one of the most special models in Turkish automobile history, will be involved in a competition that it has never entered before next year.

Anadol STC, one of the most important cars in Turkish automobile history with the Revolution, successfully conveys the sporting philosophy of its era with its dynamics. Turkey’s first sports car, which was produced between 1973 and 1975, and only a few examples of which are still running today, is currently preparing for an adventure that it has not experienced before. The Beijing-Paris Classic Car Endurance Race, which was held intermittently in 1907 and is one of the most challenging organizations in the world, will start again in 2022, two years later. Anadol STC, which has been kneaded again with important changes for the organization, where the participants will cover a total of 17 thousand kilometers in 37 days , is waiting to be completed in the garage of Ford Motorsport Turkey.

Highlights of the developments made for Anadol STC

STC, with 360-degree changes for the endurance parameters needed within the scope of the organization welcomes us. In the strengthening works starting from the body, the body modification also draws our attention. The fact that the floor section has been changed to solve the low ceiling structure, which is seen as one of the biggest problems of the vehicle, will make the time that the pilot and co-pilot will spend in the cockpit more comfortable.

Anadol STC, which comes with a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine in its standard version, will also undergo significant changes under the hood. It is also important that the 2.0-liter Ford Pinto engine with SOHC (single overhead camshaft) character will be used in the model, and that all mechanical parts, especially the pistons, will be strengthened and made compatible with the endurance race. For the engine, which we learned that it has reached a level that can meet the power limits of over 200 horsepower with the mechanical part improvements, the power will be limited to around 125 horsepower based on the race conditions. When we look at the infrastructure of the vehicle, we see that leaf springs will be used in the rear section and Double Wishbone type suspensions will be used in the front section. The differential lock is also among the different parts preferred specifically for the race. Lastly, the Beijing-Paris Endurance Race, which was held in 2019, will start on May 28, 2022.

[摘自新聞稿]由台北市電腦公會主辦的2022亞太遊戲高峰會(Asia Pacific Game Summit,下稱APGS),今年藉由線上實況轉播跨越疫情隔閡,全程提供中英文雙語字幕,透過Taipei Game Show官方YouTube頻道播出。活動於昨日完美落幕,兩日精彩議程,聚焦遊戲開發、發行代理、數位媒體、遊戲平台、獨立遊戲團隊等多元議題,分別邀請來自索尼互動娛樂、日本的白金遊戲工作室、香港OK JOY、服務遍及全球的艾克索拉、總部位於美國矽谷的now.gg、台灣踩底線遊戲、加拿大Clever Plays Studio、Red Nexus Games等業界專業人士。首日議題由香港OK JOY遊戲策劃曾羅克帶來的「世上英雄的立項:兩個人製作一款懷舊劇情遊戲」開場,深度剖析獨立工作室從初創開始到選擇題材著手開發的心路歷程,鉅細彌遺描述有限資源的創作思維,乃至於如何從生活過往點滴尋找靈感,以及所謂的「懷舊」精神。第二棒是索尼互動娛樂獨立遊戲倡議總監吉田修平,開場即提到了2016年造訪台北國際電玩展,對於當時PlayStation粉絲的熱情回應留下深刻印象,期待未來能夠再次與亞洲獨立遊戲開發者相遇。此外,跟著PlayStation品牌中路成長的吉田修平,以大型跨國企業品牌角度切入PlayStation對於獨立遊戲的理念,以及目前PlayStation持續進行的獨立遊戲曝光助力等策略。長期發展雲端手遊技術的美國矽谷now.gg台灣總經理林俊廷,帶來全球最新手遊與雲端產業的數據調查分析,包括點出高階手遊因為動輒超過1G、3G容量導致輕度用戶卻步的隱憂,帶出雲端技術架構突破傳統手遊難以割捨的安裝下載的門檻。加拿大蒙特婁遊戲Clever Plays Studio共同創辦人暨工作室經理Angela Mejia,以發行商角度解說為獨立遊戲執行大作級行銷的經驗與教訓,他認為行銷活動必須從開發第一天開始,如何利用「錨點」和「鉤癮」完成遊戲設計與行銷的連結,甚至是僅用一句簡單扼要地敘述,讓人快速對產品產生興趣,並規劃至少一年的行銷期間持續性影響消費者,滿足將遊戲放入購物車的最重要動作。第二日精彩議程由揭開序幕Underscore Game Studio概念美術丁偉倫藉由新作《Aliisha-雙子神遺棄之境》,作為曾經在任天堂Indie World Showcase發表會參與的遊戲之一,丁偉倫分別從遺跡設計、特殊符號、遺跡生物以及怪物等世界觀相關的美術設計,具體敘述如何從無到有的奇想創作,給予有志加入獨立遊戲創作者一個發想起點。來自《尼爾:自動人形》、《巴比倫殞落》白金遊戲工作室的總監稻葉敦志、首席遊戲設計師神谷英樹,皆是工作室未來計畫將以培養自有IP為主要目標,並期許能進一步從開發商成為發行生,期間帶來經典街機遊戲二合一的全新作品《Sol Cresta》更多玩法與細節分享,給予期待這款遊戲的玩家完整豐富情報。長期積極參與台北國際電玩展的艾克索拉大中華區負責人陳京波,則帶來了完整的跨境服務介紹與獨立遊戲支付設定眉角,包括跳脫平台的第三方支付方案等。甫在台北國際電玩展Indie Game Award 2022榮獲最佳遊戲設計的《Peglin》開發團隊Red Nexus Gamers合夥人Dylan Gedig帶來獨立遊戲團隊的模組化遊戲設計經驗,以實戰經驗分享如何在有限人力資源結合模組化設計,以更具效益的方式完美實踐遊戲開發。2022 台北國際電玩展即將自1月22日起至1月25日(一)假台北南港世貿展覽館一館進行,每日上午9時至傍晚5時展出,現場超過140款遊戲、硬體;晚間另有Taipei Game Show OLINE全程線上直播帶來全球熱門遊戲新訊、介紹、試玩讓您再蓄電玩能量。索尼互動娛樂獨立遊戲倡議總監吉田修平分享曾造訪TGS的回憶,坦言對於當時PlayStation粉絲的熱情回應留下深刻印象白金遊戲工作室的總監稻葉敦志、首席遊戲設計師神谷英樹分享工作室未來展望
