2023 WAS A great year for movies. While you may have seen Oppenheimer or Barbie, there were more than a handful of notable releases that captivated audiences. And now that we have the coveted list of Oscar nominations and the winner’s been announced, we can see which films people in the industry deemed the best of the year. One such film, Anatomy of a Fall, may not have been on your radar, but it definitely should be.

Starring Sandra Hüller (who also stands out in another Oscar-nominated film this year, The Zone of Interest), Anatomy of a Fall follows a woman accused of murdering her husband and the subsequent trial where her innocence is questioned. Did she do it? Or is her husband’s death far more complicated than a married couple’s quarrel?

If you’re a film fan determined to see the best releases of the year, you may have already seen Anatomy of a Fall in theaters. But if you’re someone more inclined to wait for movies to reach your streaming service of choice before diving in, waiting for Anatomy may have you scratching your head. If it’s an Oscar-winning film (for Best Original Screenplay), why can’t you see it anywhere without paying the same price as a movie ticket?

Before you stress about biting the bullet and purchasing or renting the film on top of your streaming subscriptions, there’s good news: Anatomy of a Fall is heading to a streaming service soon. Here’s where, and what other options you have to watch the film.
