| Another area in our country entered the dark red zone of COVID-19 |
© Sliven region reached the dark red zone COVID-map of the country. The average incidence is 508 people per 100,000 population, according to the Regional Crisis Staff. An extraordinary meeting of the headquarters is expected tomorrow, at which additional anti-epidemic measures will be adopted. There are 82 new cases of COVID-19 infection in the district. Among them are seven teachers from Sliven and the municipality, one teacher from a kindergarten in Nova Zagora and four students from Sliven. Classes and contact persons are quarantined. Five unimmunized patients aged 68 to 83 died. The active cases of COVID-19 in the Sliven region are currently 1,114. Most of them are in the municipality of Sliven -803, as 642 are sick from the city. In the municipality of Nova Zagora the number of patients is 208. In the municipality of Kotel 60 people are currently ill. There are 25 patients in Tvarditsa. At the moment, more than 2,300 residents of the district are in quarantine as patients or contact patients. 213 people were hospitalized. |
