Outsiders co-host James Morrow says Anthony Albanese cannot give a straight answer to a question, after the Labor leader was asked about whether he would ban MPs from claiming travel allowance to stay in their own homes.
Mr Albanese was questioned about the matter by 3AW broadcaster Neil Mitchell.
“Yes, it’s a ridiculous thing that people can do – claim this money, taxpayer money to then essentially … pay off their mortgage,” Mr Morrow told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
“But I think the much bigger issue here, and what that answer from Anthony Albanese highlighted is the fact that he cannot give a straight answer to a question.”
