Some 23 voting centers will be enabled in the state of Anzoátegui for the electoral simulation called for Sunday, October 10 by the National Electoral Council (CNE), within the framework of the regional and municipal elections of the November 21.
The director of the Regional Electoral Office, Dichelys Guevara reported that in the Bolívar municipality three voting centers will be enabled, where the voters of the six parishes will gather.
The representative of the electoral power in the state indicated that in the Republica de Chile School Group in Barcelona, with eight tables, the voters of the San Cristóbal parish will be able to carry out the exercise alone.
While the voters of the parishes El Carmen, Naricual, Bergantín, El Pilar and Caigua can go to the voting centers Complejo Educativo Estadal Anzoátegui, located in front of the Plaza San Felipe and the Escuela Nacional Barrio University in the Razetti sector of Barcelona.
He explained that voters can consult the voting exercise through the CNE website or by text messaging at 2637.
Guevara said that in the other municipalities of the entity only one center will be activated for each jurisdiction.
The official announced that 82 main machines and 29 contingency machines arrived in the state, also the cotillions with the electoral material and biosafety implements, which are being distributed to the 21 municipalities. The “electoral horseshoe” will be activated in its four steps and the transmission test, contingency activation and totalization will be carried out.
The spokesperson commented that in the simulation this Sunday the machines come with the names of the candidates nominated in the first phase, not including any changes or substitutions made afterwards.
In the November 21 elections in the state, 1,148,647 Venezuelan citizens and nationalized foreigners are authorized to vote, and a governor, 21 mayors, 15 deputies and 151 will be elected councilors.
The other centers
In the other municipalities of the northern zone, the Sotillo School Group in Puerto La Cruz (Sotillo); in Guanta, the Manuel Reyes Bravo Bolivarian High School; and, the Diego Bautista Urbaneja de Lechería Educational Unit.
The Simón Bolívar National Bicentennial Basic School in Anaco, the Domingo Guzmán Bastardo Educational Unit in Aragua de Barcelona, the Basic School were also enabled. Nacional Guevara y Lira in Cantaura (Freites), the Félix Armando Núñez National Educational Unit in San Mateo (Libertad), the Pedro Emilio Coll Basic School in Santa Ana and the Augusto D’Aubeterre Educational Unit in El Chaparro (McGregor).
For the western area, the Liceo Bolivariano Doctor José Rafael Domínguez de Clarines (Bruzual), the José Desiderio Trías Basic School in Onoto (Cajigal), the Cayaurima National Educational Unit in Puerto Piritu (Peñalver), the Pedro Celestino Muñoz de Piritu Basic School, the Carvajal National Basic School in Valle Guanape (Carvajal) and the Tomas Ignacio Potentini Basic School in Boca de Uchire (Capistrano).
