Apple Reveals Three More Games for Apple Arcade This Month Including Magical Farming Sim ‘Wylde Flowers’ and Two Greats

Last week, Hidden Folks+ hit Apple Arcade as an App Store Great. There were no upcoming games listed beyond that release, so I wondered what was going on with the service and whether we would see some changes to how frequently games release. I was also wondering if we would get less originals and more App Store Greats. Today, Apple surprised me with the announcement of two originals and two App Store Greats for Apple Arcade. What is different with these games and the announcement, is that Apple has already laid out the schedule for February 2022 in a new App Store story feature that has revealed when the games will release and a few upcoming updates. We already had Gibbon: Beyond the Trees get announced as the first upcoming original. It joins the magical farming sim Wylde Flowers by Studio Drydock. It seems very inspired by the greats in the genre as you take over your grandmother’s farm and use your powers to revive it and interact with locals. Watch the Wylde Flowers trailer below:

Barring the two originals, Bloons TD 6+ from Ninja Kiwi Games is a classic tower defence experience with support for 4 player coop, bosses, themed maps, and a lot more. Headup Games’ Bridge Constructor+ is an excellent puzzler about building bridges (unrelated to the Limp Bizkit song) through 40 levels in different settings. As of now, Wylde Flowers is expected to release on February 18th with Bloons TD 6+ set for February 11th and Bridge Constructor+ set for this Friday.
