Applies to all its operating systems: iOS, iPadOS and macOS
Apple recently updated the developer guidelines who want to release their apps on the operating systems of the Apple : starting from 1 January 2022 , it will be mandatory to offer users the possibility of delete an account created within the app .
This change to the gui da had already been announced at WWDC 2021, but it only became official yesterday. Apple also suggests developers to implement account deletion directly in the application , without therefore redirecting users to external web pages.
This applies to both mobile operating systems, iOS and iPadOS 15 , which for the expected macOS Monterey .
The company also officially announces the button return “Report a problem” , available now on iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and this too coming to macOS Monterey (although not yet in Italy). The button allows users to report scams, offensive and illegal content, even for apps they have not purchased.
