Sadness at last goodbye to Ariadne Gerasimidou
Relatives and friends, devastated yesterday, October 7, said goodbye to the 39-year-old journalist at the church of Profitis Ilias in Rodopolis, who passed away on Monday, October 4. 2021 after a four-year battle with cancer.

Ariadne Gerasimidou, before she passed away, had asked her relatives to make a specific post on her social media in which she wrote: “Oops. I probably finally left for somewhere better! As I was promised I left beautiful so all is well! I want you to know that I fought until the last moment for 4 years and unfortunately the pain of cancer won. I do not want anyone to be sad, I want you to smile and live your every day happy! It is worth nothing but the moments we have! Have a good time, do not work too much and LIVE! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the immense love I have received from everyone! Known and unknown. For those who want me next to them, I will always be there!
And because I want you all to drive properly and safely, look for #SafetyFirstGR, a road safety project I did because I said I wanted to to leave something good behind me, for when I leave. That’s all. Have happy moments! We will say it again. Life goes on! 🙂 »
