Almost a fortnight after long queues began forming at many petrol stations around the country, army personnel have been drafted in to drive tankers and boost supplies.
But although some parts of the country are now almost back to normal, one in five petrol stations across London and the South East are still completely dry.
Replenishing stocks will take time, and there’s a warning of rising petrol prices to come, too.
