Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a multi-vehicle car accident on Friday evening in Los Angeles. A representative for the 74-year-old actor told PEOPLE magazine that he wasn’t hurt in the wreck.
“He is fine, his only concern right now is for the woman who was injured,” the representative told PEOPLE.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the accident took place at around 4:35 p.m. on Sunset Blvd. and Allenford Ave in Los Angeles, only about a mile from the actor’s home. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Schwarzenegger, who was driving a GMC Yukon, was turning left on red when the accident occurred. According to TMZ, Schwarzenegger’s car started to roll and ended on top of a red Toyota Prius before turning over and rolling onto a Porsche Taycan. Schwarzenegger’s airbags were deployed in the accident, as seen in photos from the scene.
The driver of the Prius reportedly received a head injury in the wreck and was transported by ambulance to the hospital, according to LAPD. There’s no word on her condition, though Schwarzenegger reportedly plans to visit her in the hospital.
“Neither alcohol or drugs are suspected as a factor in this collision. All parties remained at the scene,” LAPD said in a statement.
One witness told TMZ that the crash looked like a “stunt in a movie.” The actor was reportedly not ticketed and left the scene a few hours after the crash.
