Arroyo took a child under 15 when he was playing in the rain

A tragic and unfortunate situation occurred in the last hours in Barranquilla, as a minor of only 15 years of age was dragged by a stream in the middle of the heavy rains that occurred in the capital of the Atlantic.

What is known about the disappearance of the minor

According to local media, the minor was with relatives playing in the rain, when, apparently, a flip-flop he was wearing slipped away and, when trying to retrieve it, the current carried him away.

The events occurred between the Santa María and Santo Domingo de Guzmán neighborhoods, southwest of Barranquilla, on the afternoon of last Thursday.

Apparently, neighbors of the sector, seeing that the minor was carried away by the current, tried to help him, but due to the force of the water it was not possible to rescue him.

For their part, the relief agencies carry out the respective search efforts.
