22-year-old anisong singer Asaka has posted a four-minute lyric video for her forthcoming 10th single song “BELIEVE MYSELF” to be released on November 10, 2021. The song will be featured as the OP theme for the forthcoming fall 2021 original anime Shikizakura.
The clip was produced to fully enjoy the world of the lyrics of the song, which was written by Asaka herself, through illustrations by Jia Hagimori. The anime’s story is set in the Tokai region, and Asaka was born in Nagoya, the largest city in the region. She writes on Twitter, “I packed a lot of love for my beloved Nagoya in this song. I hope that the city you live in will continue to shine.”

The 12-episode sci-fi battle action entertainment anime Shikizakura is set to premiere in Japan on October 9, 2021, and will be also steamed on HIDIVE in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Central America, and Scandinavian countries.
