The second character trailer for the Blue Lock TV anime is here, showcasing the skills (both on and off field) of Bachira Meguru, one of the many players that will be part of the competition. The Blue Lock, based on the manga of the same name written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, is scheduled to broadcast in Japan at some point in 2022.

The TV anime for Blue Lock is scheduled for 2022, with Tetsuaki Watanabe (Haikyu!! episode director) leading the team as the director at anime studio eightbit. Kodansha releases the manga series in English, describing it as such:
After a disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan’s team struggles to regroup. But what’s missing? An absolute Ace Striker, who can guide them to the win. The Japan Football Union is hell-bent on creating a striker who hungers for goals and thirsts for victory, and who can be the decisive instrument in turning around a losing match…and to do so, they’ve gathered 300 of Japan’s best and brightest youth players.
