QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has announced his resignation from the presidency of Balochistan Awami Party.
According to ARY News, a meeting of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leaders was held under the chairmanship of Jam Kamal in which he announced his resignation from the presidency.
Announcing his resignation from the presidency, Balochistan said that it was a matter of pride for him to be the first president of the Balochistan Awami Party, which had demonstrated high democratic values.
I would ask BAP central organizer Mr Jan Jamali and Mr Manzoor Kakar GS of BAP to have a meeting and announce BAP party elections at earliest.

He said that the position of workers in BAP is not in any other political party. He also directed to convene a meeting of party organizers and hold party elections.

It should be clear that the opposition of Balochistan And the government’s coalition party had filed a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Jam Kamal in the House. The no-confidence motion consisted of a four-point charge sheet signed by 16 members of the opposition, while the opposition party claimed that members of the coalition also supported the resolution.
Chairman Senate and Senator Sarfraz Bugti arrived in Balochistan to withdraw or thwart the no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister, where they also met leaders of political parties.
